Oprah Winfrey zal aanwezig zijn bij de lancering van de Born This Way Foundation
Oprah Winfrey zal Lady Gaga en haar moeder, Cynthia Germanotta, versterken tijdens de lancering van hun ‘Born This Way Foundation’.
“My mother and I have initiated a passion project. We call it the Born This Way Foundation,” Gaga said last November. “Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment.”
De Born This Way Foundation, die zich volgens de zangeres vooral richt op zelfverwezenlijking van de jeugd en gelijkheid door het aanpakken van zaken als het zelfvertrouwen, welzijn, pesten, juiste begeleiding en loopbaanontwikkeling door middel van digitale media.
De Born This Way Foundation zal officieel in premiere gaan op 29 februari, tijdens een speciale conferentie op Harvard University.
Lady Gaga bezoekt conferentie op Brentwood School
Lady Gaga bracht gisteravond een onverwacht bezoek aan de Brentwood School, in Californië, voor de “It’s Our Turn: Young Women’s Conference”. De zangeres werd geïnterviewd door journalist Maria Shriver, de twee dames hadden het onder andere over pesten en over de “Born This Way Foundation”.

Grace Jones over Lady Gaga en Madonna
Grace Jones heeft zich in een recent interview uitgelaten over Lady gaga en Madonna. De extravagante zangeres had het volgende te zeggen;
“It might not necessarily be her [Gaga] that’s doing it, it could be the machine around her that’s doing it [...] Madonna used to come around and watch me from the back of the audience. They’re looking for inspiration. If I was talking to an upcoming artist, I would say whatever it is you feel to do, do it, before you go looking outside yourself, and then from there you can get a true creation.”
